You make a very good point! I always thought Stephen Dillane’s face clean-shaven fit Stannis’ profile better than if he had a beard, all those hard lines and angles. Gah I can imagine the teeth-grinding and severe looks already! But a beard makes him look approachable and warm, which is not the look you want to be sending when you’re a tough, hard, unapproachable badass....
